Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned show rider, Iverson Equestrian has a program for you.
Our program prides itself in making lesson programs tailored to each individual rider so that they can get the most out of their rides and achieve their personal goals. Those who want to casually trail ride get the same respect and attention as those who want to ride competitively. You will not be lost in a crowd of clients at Iverson Equestrian. Our program likes to start off riders in private lessons and then transition to small groups whenever appropriate. We have a wonderful group of riders of all ages and levels, through complete beginner to competition jumpers, meaning incoming clients will not have to ride with someone far outside of their age/level. |
All lesson formats involve grooming and tacking the rider's horse. New riders use part of their lesson time learning how to brush their horse and get it ready to be ridden. Adults who are confident grooming and tacking do so before and after they ride on their own time.
Lesson lengths and formats are chosen from the rider's age and skill level. When you reach out, we will let you know which would be a best fit for the rider.

Incoming clients are welcome to take up to three pay-as-you-go lessons before committing to our monthly packages. The packages reserve the weekly timeslot(s) in the schedule and are priced as follows:
30-minutes per week (for ages 3-4) - $195 (avg. lesson price $45)
1 hour lesson per week - $335 (avg. lesson price of $77.31)
1 90-minute lesson per week - $375 (avg. lesson price of $86.54)
2 hour lessons per week - $650 (avg. lesson price of $75)
2 90-minute lessons per week - $725 (avg. lesson price of $83.65)
Lesson package lessons will be group (2-3 riders) lessons whenever possible.
For lesson packages, cancellations made by Iverson Equestrian for weather or scheduling conflicts will not expire and can be rescheduled or credited towards other services (show fees, xc schooling, etc.). Cancellations made by the client will have up to two weeks to reschedule before they expire. If the rider will be away for a significant portion of the month, they can still pay on the 1st of the month at the discount price for the number of lessons they will attend. Clients who choose the discounted package would be expected to give at least a week’s notice that they will not be purchasing the following month’s package.

Liberty Work Ground Lessons
Join Sam for liberty and groundwork sessions that focus on building a deeper connection with the horses. Liberty work encourages building a relationship with the horse using their natural communication and intuition.
Clients will utilize methods of positive reinforcement, spatial awareness, and minimal equipment to form a bond based on trust and mutual respect. Lesson topics will range from learning the body language of the horse to working in the arena equipment-free. Progression to more advanced topics will be dependent on the relationship between the client and the horse that they are working with.
This is a great option for people who may not physically be able to ride or want to be more comfortable with horses before riding.
