Competition

Picture
While Iverson Equestrian will never require anyone to compete, we encourage all ages and levels of riders to give it a try because competition is a fantastic way to set goals and measure progress.

There are several ways to compete with Iverson Equestrian, ranging from a casual schooling setting to build confidence and try new things, to rated events for the most goal-oriented riders.

Below are all of the ways to get involved.
Home Schooling Shows

Monthly home shows are a great way to begin competing. We have a fun, laid back atmosphere that is perfect for new riders, those who want to build confidence, and those who want to try higher levels before leaving the farm.

Iverson Equestrian has an Athletic Equestrian League team named Carlisle Equestrian Team.

The Athletic Equestrian League offers competition opportunities for riders 1st-12th grade. Riders get to compete both individually and as a team. Becoming a member of the Carlisle Equestrian Team is a fantastic choice for those looking to strengthen their riding ability. Riders compete on the host farms' horses on the flat, over fences, and an oral practicum testing horsemanship knowledge - meaning they get a comprehensive competition experience without the need to have their own horse.

For more information about the Athletic Equestrian League, visit: https://www.athleticequestrian.com/

Team membership requires two lessons a week throughout the competition season, September-May.

The team had a wildly successful 2020-2021 season. Massive congratulations for everyone and greatly looking forward to the 2021-2022 season!
